Hindusthan College of Arts and Science (HICAS) Coimbatore Admissions 2024: Merit List, Entrance Exam, Courses
Hindusthan College of Arts and Sciences has started its admission process for 2022-2023. Applications are accepted through both offline and online mode. HICAS flagship course is B.Com and B.Sc. The institute also offers various PG courses such as MBA, M.Com and MA along with M. Phil and Ph.D course. Admission to all the UG courses is merit-based. Admission to MBA and MCA is based on TANCET scores. Final selection for MBA is based on Group discussion and Personal Interview round. Admission to Ph.D is based on TANCET scores followed by an interview round.
TANCET 2022 for MBA and MCA courses are to be conducted on the same day, May 14, 2022, in two different slots. The morning exam slot i.e. from 10 am to 12 pm will have the MCA course exam while the afternoon exam slot i.e. 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm is for the MBA course.

Hindusthan College of Arts and Sciences offers 20 UG courses under different disciplines viz. B.Com in 8 specializations, B.A. (English Literature), B.B.A, B.C.A. and B.Sc. under 11 specializations. According to me, the admission process in HICAS was quite easy. For my selected course minimum eligibility was 60% of marks in HSC. As I got 75% of the marks I was able to apply for the BBA course. Application forms, application fees, and application dates were available on the official online page of the College. I was able to contact the admission center online easily and I received all my necessary information clearly from the admission office. As I do not belong to the minority community and did not secure enough scores I was not eligible for reservation benefits. They provide correct guidelines for students with reservation benefits in which the overall fees will be lesser than the others. In my admission experience, I think the admission info from the faculties was accommodating, accountable, and well-informed. From my point of view, the availability of applying to the college online should be accessible because it will be easy for students from other districts.
