Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science & Technology (SBIT) was established in the year 2003. It is affiliated to JNTUH and TSBTET, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE. The institute offers an array of challenging career-building programmes and courses. It is sponsored by Sri Swarna Bharathi Educational Society registered under the Registration of Societies Act by a group of educationalists with prior motive of promoting quality education. SBIT is the only Engineering College located in the Khammam town of Telangana.
