Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Digital Communication and Networking) From NMIT, Bangalore

Academic Eligibility for M. Tech :

Admission to the M.Tech course shall be open to candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination (B. E./B.Tech) as specified in ANNEXURE with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of all the semesters/years of the degree examination. (Cumulative sum of secured marks of all the semesters/ years divided by the sum of maximum marks). However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category-1, aggregate marks shall not be less than 45%.

1. Entrance exam eligibility: PGCET / GATE.
2. Admission through PGCET : 80% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through this test. 
3. Admission through Management quota : 20% of the total intake of the seats is to be filled through management quota. Candidates with PGCET / qualified GATE Score are eligible to apply.
4. Admission through SNQ quota for FN/ PIO/ NRI/ students whose parents work in Gulf countries : AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake.
