Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen a B.Tech course in my college, in which my branch was Information Technology. I have 69 students in my class and I want to say that the faculty was very good. The faculty rickshaw was also very good and the exams in my college are also absolutely timely. In the middle of a medicine semester, Aankhen and Sam are studying at some other college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech course in maharaja surajmal is kind of decent and msit is also known as one of the best colleges of ipu. I was interested in the engineering side so I choose this course. Faculty here are knowledgeable and they very well express things to students. Most of the faculties here are Ph.D. and master's too. So, the faculty are overall good. Talking about the exams, in btech 2 exams are conducted in one semester i.e mid terms and end terms. Midterms are not that tough it's pretty easy to get good scores. You do have to study for end sem exams and can score in good that too. No exams are too hard here, just be attentive during classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be an Engineer that's why chose btech. Surajmal is within walking distance from my house, which was a major reason I selected this college over MAIT. FACULTY is really good some teachers are really helpful and lenient give attendance, and allow students to enter the class even if they are late. The student ratio in btech is rather disappointing ( my class is 60 with only 6 girls ). There are two exams mid sem and end sem apart from class tests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it is pretty much similar to computer science and this was the best I could have gotten for my rank. faculty, I would say decent and mainly talking about cracking GATE exams rather than motivating us for placements or even extra curriculums . faculty: student ratio is also decent like 1:7 which has never been a concern. Term exams occur every 3 months either in form of mid-term or end-term and are not so easy but not too hard as well.

The course curriculum was pretty easy and the faculty was very helpful. But you have to prepare for the placement by yourself. College courses and teachers will not play any role in your placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is bad just for the first year as in the first semester there is no technical subject and in some cases just one, when we took IT we thought of doing coding which begins from next year, but faculties are very nice in teaching also. They teach every topic for exam, our mid seems are in January and it is difficult to study some subjects like ELECTRICAL SCIENCE AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like studying IT. There are 70 students in each class and the classes are divided into 2-3 sections and in 2 shifts, morning and evening. Faculties are friendly and helpful. There's a strict attendance criterion of 75%. The exams include mid-terms, vivas both internal and external along with end-term.

Ques. Which is better CSE from BPIT or IT from MSIT (second shift)?

● Top Answer By Subhash Kataria on 10 Jun 21

MSIT is definitely better than BPIT when it comes to computer science engineering. BPIT is not that bad but not as good when compared to MSIT. Placements at BPIT are getting better each year but MSIT is still leading. The table below should provide you with a better perspective on the same: College name Average package Highest package Hiring companies MSIT INR 4 to 8 LPA INR 21 LPA MU Sigma, Jaro Education, Amazon, Google, Ion Trading BPIT INR 3.95 LPA INR 10 LPA HSBC, BYJU’s, Mavenhive, Hashedin Technologies, Infosys Overall, there isn’t much difference between the two colleges. If you are planning to pursue your post-graduate studies, the college will probably not matter but your studies definitely will. You should also take into account the distance you might have to travel every day which could play a major role. My suggestion to you would be to write down the pros and cons of both the colleges and see which matters more. Is it the college name or the college stream?...Read more

Ques. What advice would you give to a first-year engineering student of information technology at the Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology?

● Top Answer By Radhika Dua on 02 Jun 21

One of my friends is from Maharaja Surajmal. According to him, there are many reviews, so he wanted to share his authentic experience. The points listed below are some advice you may find important - Socializing inside the campus is good. Making friends generates good peer-to-peer learning and habits.  MSIT has an excellent senior junior bonding. Interacting with seniors helps a lot in every aspect. Lectures are interactive. It is mandatory to have 75% attendance. But, there are students with very little attendance but good internal and end semester results. Attending practical classes is necessary.  A good relationship should be maintained with all lab assistants. Some of them are very senior attendants, and even respected by professors.  The lab assistants are the only people to help students out during external exams. The college life in MSIT is quite good, but students should not expect a lot from the administration about facilities and extra-curricular activities.  It is a fact that the institute is just an affiliated college of IP University, and not as good as DTU or NSIT. Therefore, these are some of the on-ground facts of MSIT that will help students make their college life better on the campus....Read more

Ques. Which is better: electronics and instrumentation in Thapar, IT in Maharaja Agrasen College or CSE in Maharaja Surajmal College?

● Top Answer By Simi Dua, on 25 Nov 21

Among these three colleges it will be better if you go for CSE at MSIT. As CSE is the most sorted department which will provide you with immense opportunities in the corporate field. It is recommended that you do not opt for Thapar or especially electronics and instrumentation, as your scope will become limited. CSE or IT will open several gates for your future ahead. Since you do not have any inclination towards any branch, a core branch like ICE which will require you to be one of the top students in the batch to secure a good job in the core company. Or you will get offered a job from mass recruitment companies. So it is better to pay less for your undergraduate degree, stay in Delhi and pursue the course in demand....Read more

Ques. What should i choose IT BVP or IT MSIT (GGSIPU)?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Sharma on 02 Jul 21

One of my friends studied at BVP and his experience was really good there. You should go for IT at BVP. BVP is the most active technical college of IPU. They have a lot of active societies while CSI and IEEE and have many coding competitions frequently. Though IT at MSIT also has good facilities, it is not good and does not make any efforts for the welfare of students. Categories IT at BVP IT at MSIT Course Fee 5.11lakhs 4.69 lakhs Highest CTC 10-11 LPA 13 LPA Average CTC 4-5 LPA 4.5 LPA Recruiting Companies Byju’s, TCS, L&T, GE Digital, etc. Microsoft, Josh Tech, ZS Associates, Optimus, etc. Let me tell you that even though my brother was in MAIT, he got his first internship through BVP rather than his own college. Go for BVP without thinking any further....Read more
