The IFET College of Engineering [IFET], founded in the year 1998, is a platinum category college located in Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. The NAAC accredited college is set up by eminent Industrialists, NRIs, and Indo French Educational Trust (IFET). The Autonomous College affiliated to Anna University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines. The College is also part of Cisco Networking Academy courses to enhance IT skills and promote career-building programs.

The IFET College of Engineering [IFET], Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, offers BE in five specializations and B.Tech in one-specialization at the undergraduate level. It offers ME in two-specializations and MBA in three-specializations at the postgraduate level. Selection criteria

  • The admission to courses like BE/B.Tech based on the rank scored in the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling conducted by Anna University.
  • For MBA admission, the candidate must score a valid rank in TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) or CET (Consortium Entrance Test) qualifying examination.
  • To get admission to a postgraduate program such as ME, the candidate must have a valid score in TANCET or GATE.

IFET College of Engineering Scholarships

The following are the scholarships offered to the students under various categories.

  • The IFET offers merit-based scholarships for State board and CBSE board students. The students must score certain marks in 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 
  1. For 270 & above marks: 1 lakh rupees
  2. For 255 & above marks: 60 thousand rupees
  3. For 244 & above marks: 40 thousand rupees
  • For management seats.
  • For score cut-off 150 or above, reduction in fees (equal to counselling fees) in addition to the scholarship amount.
