Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to 3 year Full-time B.Tech (Lateral) Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must be passed in 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology subject securing at least 45% marks.
In case of reserved category, 5% concession will be provided.

Admission Guidelines

The admission to B.Tech 2nd year degree course under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in appropriate branch conducted by H.P. TaknikiShiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the candidates whohave passed diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from any other recognized University/Board.
