Canara Engineering College is engaged in offering 5 courses under Bachelor of Engineering degree. Specialization includes Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical, Information Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply for admission in these courses is to have scored minimum 45% in 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English as subjects. Final selection of candidates is based on the merit in KCET/ JEE Main.

Canara Engineering College has M.Tech in Computer Science for aspirants with a BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognised Institution/ University. The minimum aggregate marks in BE/ B.Tech must be 50% to apply for admission in the course. Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of the score in GATE or Karnataka PGCET. The total intake in the course is 18 seats out of which 14 will be allotted based on entrance score and remaining 4 seats are reserved under management quota.
