Candidates are required to pass 10+2 level or equivalent examinations from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
- Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program need to appear in Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, commonly called as EAMCET, which is an entrance examination required for admission to the engineering and medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
- Students who have successfully completed their Diploma in relevant discipline can apply for B.Tech (Lateral). However, a Common Entrance Test designated in full as AP State Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders in short as AP ECET is conducted by JNT University Hyderabad for lateral entry into B.Tech program.
