The placements of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College are not the best. The packages are average and EY is the only one of the Big 4 that comes for recruitment. Most students opt for off campus placements or further studies.
The acceptance for BCom (hons) in Deen Dayal Updhyaya College, University of Delhi is completely merit-based and the average cut off is about 95% for admission. And 1% quota is available for girls during the admission process.
The placements are not the best but not the worst either. I got placed in EY which gives me the chance to be a part of the Big 4. The placements are more dependent on individual capabilities rather than the college itself.
My admission was based on my 12th board result. We were allowed to change our colleges thrice during the whole process of admission. When the first cut-off was released, I took admitted to Maitri College, DU but when the Second list came I took admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
I recently graduated from this college, and I must say that the course curriculum and faculty members were outstanding. The courses were well structured, with a combination of theoretical and practical classes allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the concepts. The faculty members were highly knowledgeable in their respective fields and provided an incredible learning experience. They were always available for support and guidance, and their feedback was timely and extremely helpful. I never felt overwhelmed or frustrated during my four years of college, and I owe that to the faculty’s dedication to teaching. I am grateful for the education I received and the amazing faculty members I had the pleasure to learn from.
I recently graduated from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College BCom program and I'm so glad I chose to attend this college. The professors were knowledgeable, passionate and engaging, and the course material was comprehensive and well-structured. The college's support staff was also extremely helpful and accommodating, and there were plenty of resources available to help students succeed. The college also has a great network of alumni and a great career services department that was incredibly helpful in helping me find a job. Overall, my experience at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a BCom Hons. program.
I had to make up my mind early in the 12 class that I am going to choose B.Com as my graduation subject. The faculty members are very humble and kind. They are always ready to clear the doubt regarding problems. Teachers are good at their subjects.
The admission process is easy and simple, we have registered on the DU student portal. Then we have to wait for the merit cutoff list and then check the eligibility criteria in which you fall. According to the list, we have chosen a college among various colleges. then the last step is to apply and make payment for the college fee.
