I chose this university because it has a program that I am really interested in and it is one of the best universities in Canada.

Course Curriculum

8

In my opinion and from my experience, I think that course curriculum and academics are both extremely fascinating here because all profs are on top of everything and very easy to reach out to once the students get to know their profs. There are countless interesting courses that one can choose from.

Exams

For the application, I had to submit 2 LoRs (both had to be from the academic section) and a general application, which, includes some mentioning of extracurricular activities, which can be mentioned in CV, but more in detail. There I highlighted some of the best extracurriculars that I have participated in. I did not have to give an interview, however, I submitted additional documents which were my personal statement and a reference letter from my volunteer work.

Placement

8

Currently, I am in my undergrad, so I don't have much experience regarding this, however, many companies visit the campus for work fairs, career coach programs on campus which help students to connect with alumni, career advice, and so on.

Fees

It depends on how much course one takes, but roughly speaking, it would be around $30000 - 40000.

Scholarship

Yes, I applied for the scholarship with an extra 2 reference letters along with the different applications from the general admission application. I applied in December.

Faculty

8

I don't have knowledge about all the faculties, but however much I know about or heard of has been mostly positive talks such as how great some profs were, and lots of opportunities for students to have hands-on experiences such as labs.

Hostel

8

I live on campus. There are many residences on campus. There are many opportunities for living on campus such as getting to know the community, meeting new people, get involved with different activities prepared by residence advisors. There is a slight difference in cost depending on which residence, but in my case, I live in the shared unit, per month it is $939 CAD.
