Review for UBC

I
8.3 /10

A very good reputation and the major I wanted to go into is very highly ranked in the world. And the program I chose is very versatile and flexible so I can take many electives and be exposed to the other programs as well.

Course Curriculum :

Varies for every course but very good generally, the courses have good syllabuses and cover lots of material which makes the course very interesting and worthwhile. The courses are very well structured.

Fees :

Tuition charges for each course and discussion or lab. Fees for transport and other support like mental health services, health services, and food and housing.

Examination Structure :

Over a three week period. You can have multiple exams in one day or over the week, hard to change exam schedules. Only allowed to change if you have 3 in 24 hours otherwise you have to be prepared for all.

Faculty :

Very big faculty, lots of students in different majors but overall very well structured. With program requirements, it makes it difficult to specifically work towards your major but also ensures that all students within the faculty graduate with some of the same credits.
