I liked the cost, the ranking, the course selection for my program, the international environment, the emphasis on extracurriculars and mental health services as well as the location.

Course Curriculum

9

I really like the diverse course selection and flexibility of the psychology program. After providing you with the tools and thinking framework to approach the course material, the major requirements ensure a certain breadth and depth while allowing you to pursue a wide range of courses.

Exams

I only had to submit my grades and some essays related to my personal profile- I highlighted my extracurriculars in that.

Placement

7

There are plenty of events and opportunities for networking and connecting with alumni, but the bonus is on students to make the most of them.

Events

The facilities at UBC are top-notch- everything from sports facilities and gyms to music rooms, study spaces and libraries to ample eating options to club funding and diverse club opportunities to support systems for mental health, international and indigenous students, career advising, assignment advising, and disability support are available to students.

Fees

For Tuition: 40000 CAD for a year.

Scholarship

Yes, I got an automatic entrance scholarship for 10,000 CAD based on my grades and profile.

Faculty

10

My classes have been 150+ students so far but for students who are willing to go the extra mile, there are opportunities to receive individual support and approach faculty. They're experts in their field with extremely fascinating and relevant research, which you often have the opportunity to partake in. The faculty is my favorite part of UBC.

Hostel

9

I lived in a shared dormitory room with a common bathroom in my first year, I really enjoyed the facilities and found it comfortable and more than enough for your needs.
