Salin sunny Review at Centennial College, Toronto | Collegedunia

My centennial review

It's one of the leading colleges in Canada with modern facilities and qualified professors. Besides that it's also nearby downtown and so that it's easy for me to figure a part-time job also. Apart from that, transportation facilities are much better than all other colleges nearby and mainly the quality of lectures are up to standard expectations.

Exams :

I chose energy systems engineering technology as my program as the energy field has a bright future in the Canadian economy. Besides that, the entire world is promoting renewable energy rather than non-environment friendly fuels. The wide scope of job opportunities also attracted me a lot and tends me to choose this particular course.

Placement :

College provides a lot of placement opportunities. the job placement unit on the campus as helps a lot in creating a good resume and helps in finding a good suitable position in the market. Centennial college appointed separate staff for their activities for their job placements, which is very helpful for all the students.

Internship :

College offer co-op opportunity after the third semester for students to attain some work experiences. Apart from that campus offers various part-time opportunities for students like working in a library, local cafe and in the gym. Apart from that student association is active in the location and is providing plenty of part-time opportunities for all newcomers.

Fees :

I had to pay like around $8,000 per semester. Some courses provide scholarship but mine doesn't. Programs like social work provide scholarships for backward students. December star $8,000 fee includes all the book costs and all the medical fees. In an emergency, you can file a loan from money Mart for paying the fee.

Faculty :

Facilities are so professional and have very deep knowledge of what they are doing. Each and everyone motivates all individuals to get good marks in academics.

Hostel :

College campus hotel is a bit expensive so that I chose off-campus accommodation. If you stay in the college hostel you have to pay around $800 for each month for each room whereas off-campus accommodation costs only around $400 per month.
