Experience of a Civil Engineer

N
8.0 /10

Reputation. UofT is a great university and is known around the world. It was ranked as Canada's number one and has great programs. It was my second choice for engineering and I love it here because of the community.

Course Curriculum :

Heavy, too loaded. Hard to keep up with it. Lots of courses starting off first year. Hard to get used to especially coming out of high school. However these courses are very useful and good, they obviously help later on.

Fees :

Lots of fees, it went up a thousand each year. Also, have to pay for textbooks. It's more expensive than other universities.

Examination Structure :

Not bad. They are mostly spread out enough for you to have time to study. However, most of the 'difficult' ones seem to be mashed together, and for the easier ones you always have more time to study which is annoying.

Faculty :

Amazing. Very great sense of community, lots of activities, lots of clubs and help groups. Everyone seems to want to help and deliver. Everyone is very close.
