HEC Montreal Undergraduate Admissions

The university offers BBA programs in 3 language streams, 25 certificate courses and 25 short undergraduate programs. The certificate programs offer the choice to be studied on campus, hybrid or online. An aspirant seeking admission for any of the courses must know the basic facts about the undergraduate admissions at the HEC Montreal.

Basic Admission Requirements:

• Copy of official Grade 12 transcripts and high school diploma
• Overall average GPA of 80% or above
• Advanced math course with 80% or above
• Copy of official transcripts from the 1st term of the current year

• IELTS 5.5 and above as proof of English proficiency

Note: The university will contact the candidates within three working days after submission of the online admission application. The email will include the HEC Montreal registration number that candidates can use to login to their HEC online account. Applicants can upload all the required documents to their HEC account. Documents should be uploaded within 5 business days.

HEC Montreal Postgraduate Admissions

HEC Montreal offers master’s degrees with 31 specializations, 20 Master of Science programs, Master of Taxation program and MBA courses with both one and two year duration, executive MBA, 16 DESS programs and 19 short courses. International students are recommended to apply as early as possible for their chosen program. The business school recommends that foreign applicants allow a minimum of 3-6 months for visa processing and other formalities.

English Proficiency Requirements

At HEC Montreal, some of the courses are offered in both English and French. Some courses are offered only in French. HEC Montreal Admission Decision

For programs like MBA, candidates will be notified by the decision date corresponding to the round they applied to. Candidates also need to accept the offer of admission by the specified deadline.
