There is currently a shortage of sonography technicians in the field. The Ultrasonography program prepares the student to perform the tasks relating to ultrasound examinations in an autonomous and professional manner.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Following are the academic requirements needed to attend the program:

Previous training in one of these areas: medical imagining technology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, nursing, echocardiography or vascular sonography, sciences (bachelor’s degree).
Must have a grade-point average (GPA) of B- for the anatomy and physiology courses and C- for the other courses.
Students need to take a French assessment test.
Standard first-aid certificate.
