Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Glass Engineering Science)

In your first year, you will take Introduction to Engineering and the Glass Engineering Exploration Lab in addition to foundation courses in math, chemistry and physics. In subsequent semesters, you'll develop expertise in general and glass materials through a blend of classroom and laboratory experiences. In your final year, you'll showcase your talents by conducting independent glass research in collaboration with a faculty advisor as part of our senior thesis requirement.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts ofhigh school and all previous education completed through counselor or advisor
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, EEI
- Applicants must have completed the following coursework: 4 units of English; 3-4 units of social studies or history, 3-4 units of college preparatory mathematics; 3-4 units of laboratory science
- Submit an essay
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a school counselor or academic instructor
- Additional recommendations from work supervisors, pastors can be helpful
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT;
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
