- The MS program in physics provides graduate instruction and research experience appropriate to many physics-related careers. The structure of the program is flexible enough to allow a wide range of programs of study and a wide range of student backgrounds. It is also suitable for part-time study.
- Completion of the program requires a minimum of two years, with students typically taking courses for the first three semesters and completing a research project in their final semester. Each student defends a master's degree thesis at the end of the program.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics;
- Applicants are eligible to apply to the program if they have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, sports science, exercise physiology, human movement, physical education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants with a bachelor's degree in another area may apply and be considered if they can demonstrate that they have experience in strength and conditioning.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program, or applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The minimum requirements are an overall average of 60% in each year, as well as in all prerequisite subjects.
- Subjects must include mathematics, chemistry, and physics in Class 11 and 12.
- GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B Grade].
English Language proficiency:
- Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
- Meeting the minimum English requirements does not guarantee admission. Students with higher English proficiency scores will receive priority in the admission assessment process.
- Not all students will qualify for EAP-3106 in place of the required IELTS or TOEFL test scores.
Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.

- official transcripts
- test scores for the verbal, quantitative and analytical sections of the GRE
- proof of English proficiency
- Submission of scores for the physics GRE subject test is recommended, although not mandatory.
- Financial support in the form of teaching or research assistantships
