The MA in Criminal Justice Administration is a specialized and concentrated program of study designed specifically for current or former practitioners within the criminal justice system. Generally, it targets individuals who do not anticipate continuing on to doctoral studies. It is a concentrated weekend, cohort-based major leading to the MA in five consecutive semesters. Classes are held on weekends, meet for one day, and run seven weeks back-to-back.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the academic requirements of the program:
- Students must complete a bachelor’s degree from an approved regionally accredited institution (or international equivalent).
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) is required.
- Students from countries where English is not the official language, and who have not earned at least a bachelor’s degree in the U.S. from a regionally accredited institution, must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
