Admission Decision will be Released between March 1 and March 15, 2022.
Students must complete a minimum of 180 credits, of which 90 must be taken in departments other than the School of Music, including the?Language Skills,?Reasoning and Writing in Context, and?Areas of Knowledge?requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (see below). Music majors are required to earn a minimum grade of 2.0 in each music course (core and elective) that is to count toward music degree requirements and an overall 3.0 average in all MUHST courses. A GPA of 2.5 in music is required for graduation.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Self report scores on application
- Official transcripts from grade 9 or higher needs to be sent to the university
- Include essays in your writing section
- Additional information about yourself needs to be provided in about 200 words
- SAT or ACT score is not required but is mandatory for homeschooled students
English Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL: 76 minimum required in IBT
- IELTS: 6.0 minimum required
- Duolingo: 105 minimum required
- SAT: 580 minimum in evidence based writing
- ACT: 22 minimum in English section
