Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Political Science] From Gonzaga University

Our faculty develops theoretical knowledge about politics, ability to identify political values, and to make sound political judgments. We value the ability to write and speak coherently, logically and persuasively about politics, and also strive to cultivate public-spirited participation in civic affairs and to prepare our graduates for careers in politics, the nonprofit sector, legal professions and international affairs.

The?alumni of this? at?Gonzaga University?have found many ways to make a difference in the world. Many serve as Peace Corps, Americorps or Jesuit Volunteer Corps volunteers in the years immediately after graduation. Some go on to study and practice law or pursue advanced degrees in Political Science and related fields. Still others become diplomats or elected officials, or do campaign, legislative, policy, or advocacy work.

Many Political Science majors find majors or minors in International Studies, Environmental Studies and Women's and Gender Studies, excellent complements to their Political Science courses.
