Specialize in Organizational Leadership and Consulting, or in Coaching. You can also craft your own individualized specialization using courses from this program and other SOLES offerings. Whatever your specialization, you'll learn to bring theory and practice together, setting yourself up for a future as an effective leader in the public, private, educational or nonprofit sector.

Through coursework, you'll master leadership and development theories, critical thinking and analytics. Through practice, you'll refine your understanding of organizational systems and group dynamics. And through an international study experience, you'll develop your global competency and self-awareness.

Students in the MA in Leadership Studies comes to us from a variety of backgrounds and undergraduate majors. Many of our students work full-time or part-time while completing the program, and they include educators, nonprofit professionals, business leaders, educational administrators, consultants and active duty military personnel.
