The Ecology Concentration is intended to provide students with the opportunity to focus their studies on hands-on understanding of the function of biological systems beyond the scale of single organisms. Students are required to complete 41 concentration credit hours.
Students learn about the environment by spending time in the environment. Whether classes consist of canoeing on Saint Leo’s own Lake Jovita, hiking and conducting research in nearby parks and wildlife preserves, or on the water studying marine life in Belize, faculty know how to use the outdoors as a classroom.
