- Our majors are regularly placed into graduate and professional programs in philosophy, law, and other fields. students develop important marketable skills like the abilities to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems, and they excel on tests such as the GRE, LSAT, and GMAT.
- The Potter Lecture brings an internationally known philosopher to each year. Recent Potter lecturers include Noam Chomsky, Bernard Rollin, and Daniel C. Dennett.
- The Inland Northwest Philosophy Conference brings dozens of philosophers from around the nation and the world to WSU. Recent keynote speakers include Joshua Cohen, Keith Lehrer, Stephen Schiffer, and Michael Bratman.

Academic Requirements:

- Applicants must submit high school diploma
- Applicants must have completed 4 units of english, 3 units of mathematics and social studies, 2 units of science and foreign language
