Course Curriculum:

The faculty at Penn is pretty great - although you do have your fair share of not-so-awesome professors, mainly because they don't really have the right methods of teaching. On the other hand, I have had some amazing professors who taught me so much.

Fees:

I did not apply to any loans or scholarships but I had friends who reached out to Penn in order to find out more about their various financing options and which organizations would accept scholarship applications from international students. Some students also received a lot of funds through Penn rather than from outside sources.

Course Curriculum:

It is difficult but expected due to the reputation of the college. Students are competitive due to many major courses being based on a curve, which can potentially lead to a conflict of interests. No room to retake classes can allow a class to ruin GPA.

Fees:

Over 70,000 a year for tuition and board. There are technology fees for each school, dining plan fees.

Course Curriculum:

Courses are not as rigorous as I had in IISc but they give more freedom to explore the subject on your own. They focus more on practical examples and the grading is easier in my opinion

Fees:

doctoral programs don't have tuition fees as they are usually covered by the fellowships

Course Curriculum:

The curriculum, especially for Electrical Engineering at UPenn is very up-to-date to the industrial standards and expectations. There are new courses that have been recently offered to cater to the professional requirements. Apart from technical prowess, UPenn has the world renowned Wharton school with alumnis like Elon Musk and Sundar Pichai. Hence, the management courses are a big update to one's profile as well.

Fees:

The total tuition fee for my 2 years of MS comes to be around 60 lakh INR.
