The computer science program provides students an opportunity to obtain more advanced knowledge and skills in computer science and information technology areas, at a detailed technical level. Students have opportunities to learn more about artificial intelligence, software engineering, and data modeling, cloud computing, big data, databases, and security.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must meet all CMU Graduate Studies admission requirements.
- Students must submit a Statement of Purpose of at least 100 words and not exceed two pages.
- Students must have studied a two-semester sequence in a modern programming language with elementary data structures (CPS 180, CPS 181), from an accredited institution with a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0 in the last two years of study, as well as in the programming courses.

- Students must take note of any special admission considerations required by the College of Graduate Studies, including TOEFL requirements.
