The MS in Cybersecurity prepares students for the protection of data assets and sensitive information. It features a curriculum focused on policy operations and technologies and defense techniques. Cybersecurity careers are among one the faster growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), estimates cybersecurity positions will increase by 32% through 2028. According to a September 2019 report, the number of jobs in 2019 was 125,570 nationwide (6,630 in Florida) with a 2019 median annual wage of $99,730 nationwide ($91,580 in Florida).
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, and universities with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (equivalent to a four-year degree).
- GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
