Concordia’s MBA in Management Information Systems will provide students with in-depth knowledge of database modeling, design, and implementation. Students will gain experience in implementing a database design by creating a physical database using the Oracle Application Express tool and SQL - and they will have the ability to sit for the Oracle Database SQL Expert exam. Students will also learn from experienced professors who will help them understand decision support systems (DSS) on topics like data mining, data warehousing architectures, expert systems, artificial intelligence systems, and executive information systems.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
- GMAT or GRE is not required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Scores Required
- Graduation from a an accredited undergraduate program with GPA equivalency of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- No GMAT or GRE required
