Graduates of this program have an unusually wide diversity of career options, most of them in the environmental arena. As with other NRM graduates, many choose to continue to graduate school. The next most common career choice over the past decade has been environmental consulting, with other private industry employment and work for the federal government being almost as popular. Additional graduates are employed by state governments, local governments, and as teachers. Most of our graduates remain in Texas, but others have moved to other states and even internationally.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and all previous education
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit essay highlighting your academic background and achievements
- Submit letter of recommendation
- Submit resume
- Submit English Language Proficiency scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT; minimum 8.5 in TOEFL Essentials
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- SAT: minimum score of 500 in Evidence based reading and writing
- ACT: minimum score of 21 in English
- PTE Academic: minimjmum score of 60
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
