As a telecommunications and information management student at a member school, you will have the opportunity to participate in the ITERA academic conference, which is designed for practitioners of telecommunications education. All areas of the discipline are represented at the annual conference, including management, law and policy, and information technology. You can also gain insight from industry experts by attending the Department of Business Information Systems' annual information technology forum. It takes place on campus in the fall, and in the past has featured speakers from such high-profile companies as Google and IBM.As a telecommunications and information management student, you will be eligible for scholarships that are available through WMU's Department of Business Information Systems.
