Southeastern's graduate program in History prepares students for careers in history, law and other disciplines that require knowledge of how the past affects the present and future ? including teaching, government service and business ? or doctoral studies in history. Students in the program learn to read intelligently, think analytically, write clearly, assess past trends, predict future developments and understand the real world as they prepare for virtually any career.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts should contain the subjects taken and grade information
- Applicants must have completed at least 30 hours of undergraduate coursework in history
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent in undergraduate or 2.75 on all upper division undergraduate coursework
- Submit official GRE score of minimum 290 (verbal and quantitative combined)
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; minimum 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 100
