The program offers a deep understanding of the psychological, social, philosophical, and curricular foundations of education, and prepares students to work with children in a variety of settings.Students can take the education and learning major through the College of Arts & Sciences to gain experience with teaching with both licensure and non-licensure track options.Apply to the College of Education for the last two years of your bachelor?s degree to complete additional professional course requirements and a student-teaching experience on your way to earning and Oregon preliminary teaching license with an elementary education or special education endorsement. Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts of high school and diploma with english translation
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredition agency like WES or ECE
  • Submit a recommendation letter from teacher or counselor
  • Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
