The program provides an understanding of the role the supply chain manager can play in a enterprise supply chain and overall strategy and exposes students to leading supply chain management operating practices, analysis methods, technology applications, and strategy development.

The Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) degree is a unique graduate program providing specific deeper knowledge of supply chain practices and technologies in a structure that it allows it to be completed while students are working full time.

Firms are interested in individuals who have sound business skills, decision-making capabilities, and a solid understanding of the latest technology applications. In Supply Chain the search widens for professionals who understand business alignment and value creation, who are aware of social and environmental responsibility, and who value risk management. MSU Supply Chain graduates understand real-world strategies and have been taught the tactics employed by leading practitioners around the world.

The MSSCM degree program offers this opportunity in a unique format. Classes are offered as a combination of brief but intensive onsite sessions and innovative online modules. Taught by our world-class faculty, in-class sessions offer one-on-one opportunities to discuss in detail the latest in SCM theory and how it applies to the daily operation of an efficient supply chain. Onsite session also offer the opportunity to network with other SCM professionals in a wide array of industries.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must complete a 4 years bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Students who meet the above degree requirement with a strong technical background in engineering, physics, or a comparable science program are welcome to apply.
  • The average cumulative high school GPA of students admitted to Stanford is 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Standardized test scores – GMAT or GRE 

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution

Note: A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at Stanford. A two-year master’s degree following the three-year bachelor’s degree from India is required.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
