The master’s curriculum emphasizes the practical application of knowledge in these areas as it relates to high school and collegiate athletic administration, as well as facility and event management.

The focus of this program is to prepare students for careers in athletic administration, and facility and event management. At the pinnacle of these industry segments exist career opportunities as athletic/associate athletic directors, tournament/event directors, and facility directors. Within each of these industry segments, skilled sport managers are needed in fields such as sales, development, corporate partnerships, finance, sport information, community relations, ticketing, booking and scheduling, event operations, ticketing, volunteer management, and event planning.
