On May 7th, 2013, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) approved Chicago State University?s new program to prepare transformational urban school leaders, which will be offered in partnership with several school districts and schools. This endorsement is required for:
- principals,
- assistant principals, and
- staff filling other similar or related positions.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency
- Submit a personal essay
- Submit a resume
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Submit an experience verification letter
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 69
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.0
- PTE: minimum 51
- Duolingo: minimum 95
