The M.S. in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) program provides students with advanced knowledge of the theory and applications of electrical systems and signal processing.
The program spans across the broad areas of communications, controls, and signal processing; electronic and electromagnetic devices; and power and energy systems. Sub-specialties include metamaterials, antennas, photonics, wireless communications and networking, robotics and dynamical systems, image processing and computer vision, machine learning, power generation, and delivery, renewable energy, and power electronics.
The Master's degree requires successful completion of 30 approved graduate credits. Both thesis and non-thesis options are available, as described below:
- Thesis option: The thesis option provides the students the opportunity to work on a research project that culminates in the publication of a thesis. Students under the thesis option earn 9 credits from the thesis and 21 credits from graduate courses.
- Non-thesis option: The non-thesis option enables students to focus more on coursework than research. There are two ways by which non-thesis MSCPE and MSEE degrees may be earned

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in engineering technology, engineering, energy or a closely related field from a recognized university.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.

Indian Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
