MSc in Animal Science is a 1-Year program at Southern Illinois University.

Through this program, students experience quality, hands-on learning both in the classroom and in the daily care, feeding, management, and supervision of animals.
During a student's first semester, a plan of graduate course work approved by the student's graduate committee will be filed with the departmental office.
Students have to successfully complete 35 semester hours of graduate credit for this program.
Each master's degree candidate must pass a comprehensive oral examination covering all graduate work including the thesis or research paper.
