- Students can opt to participate in the program on a half-time basis. MACCP students also attend the weekly Research-In-Progress meeting in the Department of Family Medicine, with clinician researchers.
- The overall goal of the MS in Medical Anthropology & Cross-Cultural Practice is to provide interdisciplinary training in medical anthropology and cross-cultural clinical and/or research practice. The curriculum has been designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the theory and methods of medical anthropological and qualitative research, and in the student’s own area of concentration.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants to master’s degree and graduate certificate programs must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (or the international equivalent) prior to enrollment.
- Students required an average grade of 3.0. (83 to 86% or B grade)
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students required a Higher Secondary Certificate/ISC (State board exams may also be considered for admission) and a four-year bachelor’s degree.
