You will combine coursework on the methods, forms, technologies, and issues of workplace writing with practical experience. The professional and technical writing major emphasizes the role of online writing skills and electronic content strategy in 21st century professional and technical communication.
Our wide-ranging curriculum emphasises electronic communication. You complete our Professional and Technical Writing degree with an understanding of international technical content standards and computing applications. You will perfect skills in writing and rhetoric, and a create a portfolio of multimodal writing samples.
Careers in technical or scientific writing can be found in a number of industries. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, industries with the highest employment level for technical writers include:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
