The atmosphere and competitive. It had a good science program with numerous opportunities for research with professors in state of the art facilities. The college life seemed fun but also down to earth.
Course Curriculum :
It's very rigorous but definitely doable, you just have to study. Professors are more than willing to help during office hours, but you have to put the work in and study and complete assignments. There is also a tutoring center if you still need help.
Exams :
I took the SAT and got in 1840. 680 on math. I obtained 600 on verbal and 560 on the writing portion of the exam.
Events :
Seuss spruce- the tree that looks like it came out of a dr.seuss book and every weekend there are late Knight events like Segway racing or arts and crafts for those who enjoy other activities besides the bars.
Fees :
There was a fee for tuition per semester unless you were taking summer classes. Summer classes were usually billed per credit.
Examination Structure :
There are large final exams and a couple of midterms for most classes. Some classes had smaller projects or papers but most of the grades were based on large exams. Many exams were multiple choice with some short answers.
Faculty :
The faculty is wonderful, prestigious, and hardworking. They try very hard to make themselves available for helping students and want to see them succeed.
