Location and cost were what I was looking for, they also had the program I wanted and I got into the school. I also liked the campus environment and clubs that were offered and the general vibe of the campus was nice.
Course Curriculum :
I think it's good, there are a lot of classes offered that seem like they'd be useful. There is a problem with getting into classes that are needed but so far this hasn't been a huge problem for me. I would rate the curriculum an 8/10.
Exams :
The only exam I took was the ACT, I didn't take any other exams because it was not required for my high school.
Placement :
There is a great career center and it seems like it is helpful to a lot of students. I haven't used it but I get emails about career fairs and job opportunities so it seems like there are a lot of chances for students to find jobs.
Internship :
Yes, they do but they are mostly for upperclassmen so I have not been able to take part. I am excited though, it seems like they have a lot of good opportunities for students to work in the field. I think it would be a good experience.
Events :
Big show, commencement, freshman orientation. there are a lot of events on the main part of campus that are fun to go to and are set up well such as craft opportunities and the farmers market. I think they have a lot of stuff for us to do.
Fees :
It is kinda vague when dues are due but it is easy to pay them online. there are a lot of hidden charges that I think are unnecessary. I think they could do better with this aspect but it's not a huge deal because they are always helpful if you have questions but it's kind of a hassle and they could make it easier.
Scholarship :
No, I haven't gotten any financial aid or scholarships, unfortunately. being an out of state student, I do not get aid.
Examination Structure :
For the most part, the professors set their schedules. This works out well because they do it during class time. I have never had a problem with an exam here, I think it is set up well and in a way that makes it easy to do well on the exam.
Faculty :
I have had good experiences with the faculty. They are all knowledgeable and most of them have worked in the field which is very helpful. They are mostly all very nice and approachable when it comes to asking for help. They make it clear how to succeed in their class and want the best for their students.
Hostel :
I live on campus and I am not planning on returning next year. I have had a bad experience with the dorms. I think they are overpriced and are not a very positive environment. the dining hall is also subpar.
