Elena Dickey Review at Simmons University, Boston | Collegedunia

Simmons: great nursing program

ED
6.2 /10

Nursing program is spectacular and the location is the best. It's located in Boston and has a bunch of world-class hospitals right down the road. Plus, it's the city and there is so much to do and see.

Course Curriculum :

Very in-depth and the teachers are always trying to help us out. They are on the ball when you aren't doing well and covers everything you need to know to become a component nurse. After taking the classes I feel well versed in the info.

Internship :

No, they do not offer internships. However, as a nursing student, I have the opportunity to have Clinical's within the Boston hospitals 1 to 2 times per week throughout each semester. These Clinical's start sophomore year.

Fees :

There is a housing fee a dining fee a health center fee a lab fee and a nursing fee as well as an activities fee.

Examination Structure :

The exam styles are all multiple choice with a couple fill in the blank and open-ended questions. They are designed to reflect the nursing boards exam that we all have to take in order to be board certified.

Faculty :

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They really want you to succeed and do everything possible to make that happen whether it's providing tutoring or 1 on 1 session.
