My review of University at Albany, SUNY

JP
7.2 /5

The reputation was good, and the cost of living was also cheap. I also opted for this college because they offered financial aid and grants. That was what swayed me to choose here the most. I'm from California so I didn't want to move all the way to New York but education was my priority.

Course Curriculum :

It's very challenging because a lot of critical thinking is required, but I am learning a lot through the curriculum. It's very fast paced and needs a lot of motivation to study alone. If you can't push yourself, it's gonna be hard to succeed.

Fees :

I use financial aid to pay for all fees and other charges. So I'm not sure exactly how it's structured.

Examination Structure :

A lot of essay questions for the physical tests or final essays to submit at the end of the semester. Sometimes we are assigned projects to show that we can actually analyze data through SPSS or R. The professors give enough info about what they expect us to know.

Faculty :

They care about the students a lot, it really shows. They not only care about our academics but also our wellbeing. They are also ready to help us whenever.
