Taylor Review at University Of Connecticut [UCONN], Storrs | Collegedunia

College in My Eyes

Course Curriculum :

Challenging but exciting to learn

Exams :

The best option available for my major and best for me to explore other majors. I did fair on the SAT and my grades in high school were fair, so that is what led me to this campus. Which became a good thing because academia at the main campus would have been more challenging and more costly. This campus was more my speed and local.

Internship :

Yes, but I am unsure of details as I am not employed through the university. Jobs around campus include barista at Starbucks, working the front desk in the Lobby, working in the library, working as a tutor, and working in Student Services.

Fees :

Scholarships are available to be applied. I received one from my university, which is renewable upon re-application. Work-study programs also give students a way to work while receiving aid. There are also student loans that can be used as a last resort for students that need further financial assistance

Examination Structure :

It varies by course

Faculty :

Most faculty are very responsive and helpful. I have had many professors who are extremely passionate about the subject that they teach and it motivates the students to do well.
