Archana
9.3 /10

It has amazing coursework which covers all the basics of Computer Engineering. Also, the instructors are awesome especially their research. I later joined one of them in their lab, it's been fun.

Course Curriculum :

Wholesome covers all the basics. It is very flexible to suit the students' needs. Also can take up other department courses that helps you have a better understanding of other subjects also helps you improve your other skills.

Exams :

I took GRE, and IELTS for my English as I am an International student. The exam was easy as it tested basic English and math.

Placement :

We have job fairs that last up to 3 days every semester. Many leading companies visit us and talk about the positions they can hire for. The representatives are very attentive and helpful. Many of my friends got interviews through career fair

Internship :

Yes, one of my professors recommended me for a leading Robotics company. I was paid 20$ per hour, and the position helped me a lot career-wise as it gave me exposure and also helped me understand the corporate world

Events :

We have a huge line up of events all around the year. There are many student associations and also many appreciation weeks where we are just given free stuff and food. Recently we had a huge crawfish boil giveaway in our university

Fees :

We pay 998$ per credit hour for the master's degree. There is recharge of 600 and other fees that add up to 12K for 3 courses a semester

Scholarship :

I got instate scholarship which was availed by being a research assistant. You can also get them if you have a good standing in your previous academics. You can also get them by being a TA or working in some departments.

Examination Structure :

Mostly there are 2 mid exams followed with 1 final exam. They can be either cumulative or chapter wise, depends on the professors. They can have an increasing difficulty level. You can have a final project instead, or maybe both.

Faculty :

They are very nice and helpful. They have long office hours before exams to help us out, which is very nice of them, even the TAs are very knowledgeable.

Hostel :

I live on campus. It's a bit expensive but I manage. I live in on-campus housing with a single room. I live closer to the university helps me save time and also, use other university amenities like gym, Library, etc.
