It was close to my house and family. It is a great school with many opportunities to offer. The scenery is beautiful around here and it's a beautiful campus. There are many activities and extracurricular offered to get involved.
Course Curriculum :
The course curriculum is good however I believe that basic classes like English, philosophy, etc are not related to my major and I am not sure why I have to take those kinds of classes. I feel as if it is not the optimal way of education.
Exams :
I took the ACT in high school before coming to Colorado State University. I did not take the SAT or GRE.
Placement :
I am not 100% sure about the placements and job opportunities but I believe they are good. I know we have one of the best vet schools in the nations. I am not yet graduated and have not yet tried to find a job.
Internship :
My college does offer internships, I believe but I do not have an internship or have tried to get one from my university. I know some majors require you to complete an internship however mine does not.
Events :
I am not sure. I know we are very proud of being an eco-friendly and sustainable university. We promote a lot of recycling and being pro-green. I believe we celebrate DACA students here. And I believe we celebrate other events that I do not know.
Fees :
The fees structure are on your student account. They have various types of fees for technology, library, etc. I am not 100% sure on the rest. I do know that they charge you for your classes and such.
Scholarship :
Yes, I have received scholarships and financial aid in the past. I have done so by applying on FAFSA and applying on various scholarship websites. My school also provides scholarships on their website where you can access your student account.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure depends on each class however they mostly consist of multiple-choice questions and some exams are combined with fill in the blank or free-response. In my organic chemistry exam, all of the exams were free-response.
Faculty :
The faculty in my college and wonderful. They're very helpful and kind. They provide numerous methods of contact to get a hold of them or are available to set up appointments if office hours don't work out.
Hostel :
I live off-campus this year. I have commuted from home the past 2 years and it took about 30 minutes to drive. Since I live close this year I bike to campus to save money on parking and it is better for the environment.
