I liked the program and my husband had a job in that city. So, those were the factors that led me to choose the university and program, I like nature and the environment, so I chose environmental science.
Course Curriculum :
I think the courses that I took are relevant as I focused on courses related to statistics and ecology.I like that most courses were also seminars which gave an opportunity to present our research and learn from others.
Exams :
GRE:300.There was not much requirement for my university as I had done masters from US accredited university so my TOEFL was waived.
Placement :
I have not visited any companies and since I am focusing more on my research for now, after few months may be I will be looking into post study placement.
Internship :
No.
Events :
Extracurricular activities are good.I like libraries and sport facilities but sometimes I think we are paid for every services which we even don’t use.
Fees :
$30,000
Scholarship :
I received a scholarship based on the research that I was doing.I got the scholarship from a fund dedicated towards anyone who conducts research on one of the creeks that I had to go for my research study.
Faculty :
Faculty and staff are friendly and helpful.I think my professor himself has made an incredible impact on me as he encourages self motivation and I have learning a lot from him.
Campus Life :
Extracurricular activities are good.I like libraries and sport facilities but sometimes I think we are paid for every services which we even don’t use.
Hostel :
Sharing would be the best option for firstcomers I think as you will have company and it will relieve some of your homesickness.Otherwise, university housing is also good option.
