Hannah Review at Metropolitan State University, Saint Paul | Collegedunia

Wonderful Online Program!

H
9.2 /10

The price was affordable and I like how they offer a completely online marketing program, with a campus in Minneapolis that I will go to if needed. My college credits from Normandie were also easily transferable to Metro State.

Course Curriculum :

Great! I appreciate the variety of courses that are required for the degree and how there is the option to take elective marketing courses. A lot of the ideas overlap, but each class goes into more detail on the key factors of marketing.

Exams :

I took the SAT With a score of 24. I transferred my credits from Normandale Community College and did not have to take any further tests.

Placement :

I haven't graduated yet, but I am hopeful for a variety of jobs to choose from with a Marketing degree from Metropolitan State University. I think metropolitan state university is a well known, state school that will help me be successful in my career.

Internship :

Hi! I have not and do not believe I will have to complete an internship. I did complete a marketing internship at Normandale, though, for my AAS in Marketing and that was great!

Events :

Because I attend school online only and do not have an interest in participating in events or celebrations at school, I haven't had any experiences regarding this subject. I don't think this is a party school, though.

Fees :

Each class has its individual fees, which do not include supplies such as books, online access to websites other than d2l, or calculators.

Scholarship :

I filled out the FAFSA for financial aid and student loans. I use Metro State?s E services site to view the details of my aid and loans.

Examination Structure :

My online exams consist of exams on D2L and on outside websites, such as Cengage. So far, I usually have a quiz once a week or just midterm and final tests or a mix of both. The exams are usually timed, but I get plenty of time to finish.

Faculty :

I do like the faculty and find them helpful. I always look at the rate my professor before choosing which professor to take a class from and have ended up with only teachers that I like. My guidance counselor is also helpful.

Hostel :

I lived with my mom and sister exclusively. I have no interest in living in a hostel, dorm, alone, or shared living. Because I do school entirely online, I do not have to be close to campus, but I do like how I am within 20 minutes of the Minneapolis campus if I need to go there.
