The University of Idaho has a lot of funds and scholarships. It's very good for the Engineering programs especially electrical engineering in terms of research as well as education.
Course Curriculum :
The syllabus of the course is good. Most of them get RA or TA which is an advantage.
Exams :
Admission requirements are Transcripts, SOP, LORs, and GRE- Verbal 145 Quant 155.
Placement :
There is a career fair every semester, they invite a lot of companies. We do lift pitches with each company. If they like us, they call us for an interview the next day.
Internship :
No. I got RA.
Events :
The campus is nice, and calm and has a library with all resources 24 hours avail. Every day one or other program takes place in the college which is interesting.
Fees :
$60,000. So per semester $15,000 excluding insurance.
Scholarship :
Yes, I got a scholarship of $4000. Just GPA matters.
Faculty :
The faculty-student ratio is 1:15. All professors and staff are very friendly.
Hostel :
I stayed off-campus in the apartment. We have ISA, they help us find apartments. The living cost is pretty cheap.
