8.2 /10

I chose Kansas State University because of its Textiles and Apparel Marketing program. I wanted to have a reputable degree upon graduating that employers would see and immediately want to hire me or be impressed.

Course Curriculum :

I think the curriculum for my course is appropriate! The classes are challenging, yet doable. I enjoy my classes a lot and I love my major. I feel some of the classes are more applicable to my future and my career than others.

Exams :

I took the ACT in high school multiple times in hopes to raise my score to earn scholarships. I was blessed to receive a scholarship from KSU

Placement :

Good. The program is a very reputable program so employers will see our degrees and want to hire us. Employers know that Kansas State University students are usually hard working and know what they are doing.

Internship :

Yes! Kansas State University requires an internship in my program before graduation. The internship has to be after your junior year or senior year. K-State usually lines one up, but other times students have to find their own.

Events :

At Kansas State University we celebrate lots of holidays. We celebrate national holidays in the same ways most colleges do. One thing we do differently is we celebrate Kansas State Unite, which is a Kansas State University holiday that celebrates our college's diversity.

Fees :

The main Kansas State University college has fees associated with it that are added to tuition, then the colleges that my program is in have fees added on top of that, then we have program fees that are also added to our tuition.

Examination Structure :

The exam structure is difficult but doable!! All exams require lots of studying and working hard, but if you put forth the time and effort you can succeed in them. The teachers also are lots of help.

Faculty :

I have enjoyed most of my teachers a lot, I have a few that I think are terrible at actually teaching the material they are supposed to, or will say one thing and then grade another way.

Hostel :

I live in a resident dorm hall, it has been a great experience. I have a roommate who I share a room and bathroom with. It has all worked really well. The dorm staff does a great job of helping when things break or when needed.
